Nepal sees 220 new coronavirus cases in last 24 hours

Kathmandu valley sees 129 cases in 24 hours



KATHMANDU: The country recorded a total of 220 new cases of coronavirus while 263 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

Of the confirmed cases, 218 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 2 from the antigen method.

Likewise, there are 89 cases in Kathmandu, 7 in Bhaktapur and 33 in Lalitpur, taking the total cases in the valley to 129 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, there was one coronavirus-related death in the past 24 hours. With this, the COVID-19 death toll has reached 11,574 in the country.

There are 5,225 active cases of coronavirus in Nepal as of Monday.
