Two Indians arrested with fake notes



BIRGUNJ: Rautahat police have arrested two Indian nationals with fake Nepali currency notes of Rs 1,00 and Rs 500.

Police have arrested Bikash Jaiswal, 26, of Motihari in Bihar and Ajay Prasad, 32, of the same place with fake Nepali currency notes.

A police team deployed from Police Post Motipur Narkatiya arrested them along with fake Nepali currency notes while checking pedestrians and vehicles at Paroha Municipality-8 Narkatiya of Rautahat.

According to Rautahat Police Spokesperson, Deputy Superintendent of Police Sunil Malla, 69 counterfeit notes of Rs 1,000 and one note of Rs 500 were recovered from the two persons.
