DSP obstructs Province 2 assembly demanding CM Raut’s resignation



JANAKPURDHAM: The main opposition party in Province 2 parliament, Democratic Socialist Party (DSP) has obstructed the province assembly meeting on Wednesday demanding Chief Minister Lal Babu Raut’s resignation.

DSP lawmakers rose and obstructed Social Development Minister Nawal Kishor Sah from presenting the ordinance on Wednesday and demanded resignation of Chief Minister Raut. DSP has been demanding the Chief Minister Raut’s exit accusing him of promoting corruption.

DSP Chief Whip Parameshwar Sah, said that the party blocked the meeting as the government introduced the ordinance skipping the parliament itself.

Owing to the obstruction, Speaker Saroj Yadav has adjourned the meeting for 15 minutes.
