Nepal records 341 new COVID-19 cases, three deaths in last 24 hours

Kathmandu valley witnesses 172 fresh coronavirus cases



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 341 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 313 persons tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 28 tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 112 persons in Kathmandu, 35 in Lalitpur, and 25 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for COVID-19, making the Kathmandu valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 172 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, three people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours taking the coronavirus death toll in the country 11,557 till date.

Meanwhile, 376 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
