Vaccine against Covid to be given to people above 18 years of age

KATHMANDU: The government has decided to vaccinate people above 18 years of age against Coronavirus in three districts of the Kathmandu Valley.

The Ministry of Health has issued a notice stating that all citizens above 18 years of age in the Kathmandu Valley will be vaccinated against coronavirus.

In Kathmandu, the vaccination centers have been designated at Armed Police Force Hospital (Balambu), Martyrs Memorial Hospital (Kalanki), Lotse Bhawan (New Bus Park), Birendra Sainik Hospital, and Nepal Police Hospital (Maharajgunj).

Likewise, the other centers are Bir Hospital, Boyodha Hospital (Balkhu), Shukraraj Tropical Hospital in Teku, Paropakar Maternity and Gynecology Hospital (Thapathali), Civil Servants’ Hospital (Minbhavan) and Apex Polyclinic.

Similarly, in Lalitpur district, vaccination will be given at Patan Hospital, Chhaubahal Public Health Post, Saibu Health Post, Lubhu Primary Health Center, Imadol Health Post, Bajrabarahi Chapagaon Hospital, Badegaon Primary Health Center, Lele Primary Health Center, Bhattedanda Health Post, Chaughare Health Post and Gotikhel Health Post.

Similarly, vaccination will be given at Nepal-Korea Friendly Municipal Hospital (Thimi) in Bhaktapur on Wednesday and Friday.
