Nepal records 280 new COVID-19 cases, two deaths in last 24 hours

Kathmandu valley witnesses 146 fresh coronavirus cases



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 280 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 100 persons in Kathmandu, 31 in Lalitpur, and 15 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for COVID-19, making the Kathmandu valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 146 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, two more persons have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 336 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
