Nepal records 205 new COVID-19 cases, one death in last 24 hours

Kathmandu valley witnesses 103 fresh coronavirus cases



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 205 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 200 persons tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 5 tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 63 persons in Kathmandu, 34 in Lalitpur, and 6 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for COVID-19, making the Kathmandu valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 103 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, one more person has succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours taking the coronavirus death toll in the country 11,541 till date.

Meanwhile, 436 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
