Eighth Tanahun festival on January 22



TANAHUN: The eighth Tanahun festival will be organized on January 22-24.

To be organized by the Tanahun Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the venue for the festival is PB Park at Byas Municipality-3. This information was shared at a press conference here on Friday.

The festival aims to conduct a feasibility study and promote local productions, agriculture, religions, culture, industry, trade and tourist destinations, said the CCI, Tanahun President Pabindra Kumar Shrestha.

Around 500,000 people are expected to visit the festival and approximately Rs 60 million worth of transactions expected.

Plans are afoot for visitors to visit the cultural model villages including Manungkot, Kumaltari, Botegaun and Daraigaun in the area, he said.
