Three more climbers die on Mount Everest



KATHMANDU: Three more climbers have died on Mount Everest. With the deaths, the death toll at the world’s highest mountain this spring season has reached seven.

Two more Indian climbers died on Everest on Thursday. Kalpana Das, 52, who had reached the summit on Thursday died while descending. Another Indian climber, 27-year-old Nihal Bagwan, also died on his way back from the summit. Traffic jam at the summit is blamed for the deaths.

An Austrian climber died on the northern Tibet side of the mountain.
