Nepal sees 270 new coronavirus cases in last 24 hours



KATHMANDU: The country recorded a total of 270 new cases of coronavirus while 302 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

Of the confirmed cases, 242 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 28 from the antigen method.

Likewise, there are 92 cases in Kathmandu, 12 in Bhaktapur and 30 in Lalitpur, taking the total cases in the Valley to 134 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, two infected patients died of the infection in the past 24 hours taking the COVID-19 death toll to 11,518.
