Journalist Aidi passes away



HUMLA: Humla-based journalist Nanda Aidi has died in course of treatment.

He died under treatment at Sumeru Hospital in Kathmandu on Saturday, his spouse Babita Budha said.

The 30-year-old journalist was suffering from liver and kidney ailments. He had been undergoing treatment at various hospitals in Kathmandu for the last two weeks.

According to Budha, Aidi was suffering from Hepatitis B, liver and kidney diseases. He was the publisher and Chief Editor of ‘Takeshwor Awaj’, a vernacular newspaper.

Aidi leaves behind his wife, two daughters, and a son. Humla district has lost youth and emerging journalists in his demise. He was the resident of Phucha, Sarkegad Rural Municipality-8 in the district.
