KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced the foreign exchange rates for today.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 151.19, while the selling rate stands at Rs 151.79.
Similarly, the buying rate of one euro has been set at Rs 173.14 and the selling rate at Rs 173.83. The buying and selling rates of one UK pound sterling have been fixed at Rs 200.14 and Rs 200.93, respectively. Likewise, one Swiss franc is being traded at a buying rate of Rs 187.02 and a selling rate of Rs 187.77.
The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been fixed at Rs 105.85 and the selling rate at Rs 106.27. One Canadian dollar is being exchanged at a buying rate of Rs 106.65 and a selling rate of Rs 107.07, while one Singapore dollar has a buying rate of Rs 116.91 and a selling rate of Rs 117.38.
Among Asian currencies, the buying rate of 10 Japanese yen has been set at Rs 9.35 and the selling rate at Rs 9.38. The buying and selling rates of one Chinese yuan are Rs 22.32 and Rs 22.41, respectively. One Saudi Arabian riyal is valued at Rs 40.27 for buying and Rs 40.43 for selling, while one Qatari riyal is exchanged at Rs 41.47 and Rs 41.63, respectively.
According to NRB, the buying rate of one Thai baht has been fixed at Rs 4.59 and the selling rate at Rs 4.61. Similarly, one UAE dirham is being traded at Rs 41.16 for buying and Rs 41.33 for selling.
The buying and selling rates of one Malaysian ringgit have been set at Rs 36.44 and Rs 36.58, respectively. For 100 South Korean won, the buying rate is Rs 9.83 and the selling rate is Rs 9.87. One Swedish krona is valued at Rs 15.74 for buying and Rs 15.81 for selling, while one Danish krone is exchanged at Rs 23.16 and Rs 23.26, respectively.
The central bank has fixed the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 19.28 and the selling rate at Rs 19.36. Likewise, one Kuwaiti dinar is being traded at Rs 491.44 for buying and Rs 493.39 for selling.
Similarly, the buying and selling rates of one Bahraini dinar have been set at Rs 401.05 and Rs 402.64, respectively, while one Omani rial is valued at Rs 392.42 and Rs 394.28.
The buying rate of Indian currency has been fixed at Rs 160 per 100 Indian rupees, while the selling rate stands at Rs 160.15.
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. The exchange rates quoted by commercial banks may vary, and the latest rates are available on the central bank’s website.
