Gandaki march held in Devghatdham after 40 years

DAMAULI: Devghat march was held after 40 years so as to make wider religious and cultural publicity of Vedic philosophy preserving the religious and physical development of Devghatdham –a popular pilgrimage site of Hindu revelers.

The Gandaki march has been organized under the aegis of religious practitioners, leaders and saints of the region to preserve the religious significance of world’s rare religious shrine, Devghat.

Chairperson of Devghat Area Development Committee Badri Prasad Adhikari shared that the march was hosted to continue the Devghadham-Gandaki march that was historically initiated in 1982.

As part of the program, march pass was made around Benisangam, Galeswor Ashram (Siddeswor Mahadev Temple), Chakrawarti Ashram (Manimukundeswor Temple), Mahesh Sanyas Ashram (Bideswor Mahadev Temple), Harihar Sanyas Ashram (Harihar Temple), Ganesh Temple, Kedareswor Temple, Badrinath Temple, Sandhebagar Buddhist Monastery and Bhuwaraha Temple (Manimukundeswor Chakrawarti Ashram).

Likewise, march pass was carried out around Sankalpeswor Mahadev Temple and Dechhein Tharwaling Buddhist Monastery in Devgaht Bus Park towards Chitwan, Biswoshanti Yagyashala Temple, Ram Temple, Laxminarayan Temple, Radhakrishna Temple, Sitaram Sanskrit Secondary School, Yogi Naraharinath Ashram Gaushala (Bageswori Temple), Anptari (Diyalo Bangala Chowk), Pokhara Bus Park (Gauriswor Shiva Temple), Narayangadh (Harihar Temple) and Narayangadh Pulchowk (Durga Temple).

Similarly, the religious procession marched around Gaindakot Pulchowk (Gopeswor Mahadev Temple), Maulakalika Bhagawati Temple, Sukadev Bhagawat Ashram, ramanuja Veda Vidhyashram, Radhakrishna Temple and Divyadham Temple, shared the Committee.
