Nepal records 317 new COVID-19 cases, six deaths in last 24 hours

Kathmandu valley witnesses 153 fresh coronavirus cases

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 317 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 301 persons tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 16 tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 110 persons in Kathmandu, 36 in Lalitpur, and 7 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for COVID-19, making the Kathmandu valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 153 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, six people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 279 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
