President Bhandari offers Bhaitika



KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has offered tika to her younger brother Degendra Pandey at the auspicious hour of 11:02 am on the Bhai Tika, the main day of Tihar festival.

The Bhaitika ritual and ceremony took place at the Office of President at Sheetal Niwas.

The President gave blessings and offered garlands of dubo grass and Makhamali flower, sweets, walnuts, fruits and species, and a Dhaka topi to her brother.

Also, Pandey offered tika and garlands and presents to the Head of State.

Similarly, President Bhandari on the occasion offered tika and garlands of dubo grass, Makhamali and Godabari flowers to her sister Sushila Pandey.
