Additional 500 CCTV cameras to be installed in Valley

KATHMANDU: More than 500 CCTV cameras will be installed in the Kathmandu Valley this year.

The number of CCTV cameras, which are considered as an effective means of crime investigation in society, will be increased shortly, authorities have said.

Currently, there are only CCTV manual systems for public consumption in the Kathmandu Valley.

Now they are being connected to the automatic detective system under the video management system.
