Nepal records 447 new COVID-19 cases, 7 deaths in last 24 hours

Kathmandu valley witnesses 175 fresh coronavirus cases



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 447 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 395 persons tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 52 tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 131 persons in Kathmandu, 27 in Lalitpur, and 17 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for COVID-19, making the Kathmandu valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 175 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, 7 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 439 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
