MYAGDI: A grant contract has been signed after one year for the reconstruction of private houses so as to rehabilitate the survivors of monsoon-induced disasters in Annapurna Rural Municipality of Myagdi district.

The contract signing was done at the office of the rural municipality at Pokharebagar on Sunday. As per the contract, the survivors of landslide, erosion and flood occurred in 2020 would be provided with cash of Rs 500,000 each.

The Rural Municipality had also imparted orientation on the subject matters such as house architect sample, standards, installment-based payment of the grant, process and technology, shared engineer of Annapurna Rural Municipality, Iswor Bahadur Bhandari.

He further shared that the delay was caused when there was no likelihood of the house construction due to coronavirus and incessant rain despite placement of work procedure to this effect.  (RSS)
