Visiting team of Indian Army reaches Jomson



KATHMANDU: A team of visiting Indian Army has reached Jomsom Thursday.

Two Nepal Army (NA) choppers flew a 35-member Indian Army team led by Rear Admiral Dhiren Vig to Mustang this morning.

According to DSP Ram Kumar Dani at District Police Office, Mustang, the team is scheduled to visit Muktinath temple and the High Altitude and Mountain Warfare School of Nepal Army located at Kaisang camp in the district.

An Indian Army team participating in the National Defense Course conducted at the National Defense College in Delhi arrived in Nepal this week. NA Chief of Army Staff General Prabhuram Sharma had welcomed them earlier.

The Indian Army team is scheduled to return to Kathmandu today after visiting Muktinath and Kaisang camp.
