Nepali nat’l shot dead in America



NEW YORK: A Nepali national has been shot dead near the City of Boston in the United States of America.

The deceased has been identified as 54-year-old Lal Kishor Mahaseth of Mahendranagar of Dhanusha. Mahaseth, who had gone to America 15 years ago, was shot dead at around 9 pm on Monday.

He had been running a retailor shop on the Rock Street in Fall River City, a one and a half hours away from the City of Boston, in Massachusetts.

According to police, an unidentified armed gang may have opened fire at him while retaliating against the robbery. He is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter.
