Minister Jhankri promises to work as per public aspirations

'CPN (Unified Socialist) would get at least 2.8 million votes in favor'



PALPA: Minister for Urban Development, Ramkumari Jhankri promised to put sincere efforts to discharge the responsibility entrusted to her.

At a press meet organized here today by the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ), Palpa chapter, Minister Jhankri said she would perform as per the people’s wishes and aspirations in a responsible manner.

The minister asserted that the incumbent government would emphatically work against corruption and bad governance propping up in the country.

Minister Jhantri also promised to make her ministry’s work effective in coordination with local governments.

Informing that the party organization expansion is taking place on youth’s participation, she said the coalition between the parties would continue.

Meanwhile, Jhankri has claimed that the party will have seven hundred thousand organized members from all over the country in the next three months.

This will be made possible through a three-month campaign to build and organize the party, she said.

She also claimed that the party would get at least 2.8 million votes in favor if every organized member secured at least four votes in the coming elections.

Stating that the party has a plan for each organized member to work for the party for one day and for him or herself for the remaining six days in a week, she said that at least 50 percent women and 40 percent youth under the age of 30 will be included in every committee of the party.

Minister Jhankri stressed the need to work in a way that the results can be visible to the people.
