Nepal sees 591 new coronavirus cases in last 24 hours



KATHMANDU: The country recorded a total of 591 new cases of coronavirus while 937 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

Of the confirmed cases, 523 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 68 from antigen method.

Likewise, there are 203 cases in Kathmandu, 30 in Bhaktapur and 41 in Lalitpur, taking the total cases in the Valley to 274 in past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, altogether nine infected patients died of the infection in the past 24 hours taking the COVID-19 death toll 11,293.
