Relief materials provided to fire survivors



KATHMANDU: Nepal Red Cross Society has provided relief materials to the fire survivors of Bhokraha Narsingh Rural Municipality-8 of Sunsari.

Nepal Red Cross Society chapter at Bhokraha Rural Municipality provided the relief materials to the family of Israfil Ansari. The household had lost the property worth Rs 360 thousand, chapter chair Yubraj Dahal said.

The household was given tarpaulin sheet, blankets, kitchen utensils, and readymade clothes. The fire burnt down the properties in Ansari’s house last night.

It is said the fire broke out from the flame made to ward off mosquitoes at the cowshed.
