Police arrest Indians trying to rob bank in Rangeli of Morang

BIRATNAGAR: Police have nabbed a group of Indian robbers who tried to rob a bank in Karsia, Dhanpalathan village of Morang district.

According to Morang police, the police foiled the attempted robbery by arresting the robbers on time.

On Monday afternoon, a group of people had attempted to rub Citizens Bank’s Karsia branch by assaulting the security guards.

“The guards were shot by the robbers. They are rushed to a hospital for treatment,” the police said.

A team from the District Police Office, Morang reached the spot and arrested three allegedly involved in the robbery.

Although the preliminary investigation has shown that the robbers were the Indian nationals; however, further investigation is underway, the police said.
