 Rain amidst thunderstorms forecast in five provinces



KATHMANDU: Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has said the rain is occurring in one or two places with partly to generally cloudy weather across the country.

Issuing a weather bulletin on Thursday morning, the MFD said the weather will remain partly to generally cloudy across the country with chances of rain amidst thunderstorms in some places of Pradesh 1, Pradesh 2, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini Pradesh.

The weather will remain generally cloudy across the country on Friday with chances of light to moderate rain and thunderstorms.

Likewise, the weather will remain cloudy across the country with rain amidst thunderstorms in some places of Pradesh 2, Bagmati and Lumbi Pradesh and in a few places of the rest of the provinces on Saturday.

The low-pressure monsoon trough is currently located towards the southern direction and having an impact on the weather system of Nepal, accordingly.
