Nepal Army nabs youth trying to steal Crown from Narayanhiti



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Army has arrested a man who was trying to steal a crown under the pretext of visiting the Narayanhiti Durbar Museum.

According to sources, Khim Bahadur Gharti of Musikot-11 in West Rukum tried to steal the crown by breaking the glass under the pretext of observing the museum on Friday morning.

NA personnel deployed for the security of the museum foiled his attempt.

It is said that his hand was cut off when he tried to steal royal crown by breaking the glass.

He is now under the control of the Nepal Army and the cause of the theft is being investigated.
