NC leader Dr Narayan Khadka to be appointed Foreign Minister

KATHMANDU: A meeting of the ruling coalition has decided to appoint Nepali Congress (NC) Dr. Narayan Khadka as Foreign Minister.

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba had earlier proposed that Dr. Khadka be made the Foreign Minister.

The meeting of the ruling coalition agreed to appoint the foreign minister considering the need to participate in the UN General Assembly.

Dr. Khadka will be sworn in on Wednesday, a source said.
