Earthquake jolts Darchula



DARCHULA: An earthquake of 4.2 magnitude was recorded at 4.30 pm Monday, the National Seismological Research Centre said.

Director General at the Department of Mines and Geology, Ram Prasad Ghimire said a study is on to find out whether it is the aftershock of previous earthquake or a new one.

According to the local administration, the quake was felt in Baitadi, Dadeldhura, Doti and other surrounding districts as well.
