KATHMANDU: The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has started issuing new banknotes from today in view of the upcoming Dashain and Tihar festivals.
People can exchange fresh notes from NRB central office and provincial offices. Likewise, other banks, as well as financial institutions, will also distribute fresh notes from today.
The NRB is issuing fresh notes worth Rs 35 billion considering the Dashain, Tihar, and Chhat festivals.
