4.4 million doses of Vero Cell arriving from China today



KATHAMANDU: The remaining doses of Vero Cell against COVID-19 purchased from China is scheduled to arrive in Nepal today.

The 4.4 million doses of vaccine will come to Nepal through the Wide Body (330-200) of Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC).

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the government had purchased six million doses of the virus from China. Of them, 1.6 million doses of vaccine have already arrived and the remaining 4.4 million doses of vaccine will reach Nepal at 2 pm today.

So far, the Nepal government has received more than 10 million doses of vaccine so far. The government has fully inoculated 5,473,151 people and 6,057,194 people have received the first dose of vaccine.

The Ministry of Health and Population has stated that the vaccination campaign will be launched again after the arrival of the vaccine from China.
