Police nab youth with an automatic pistol from Swayambhu

KATHMANDU: A team of the Special Bureau of the Armed Police Force has arrested a youth with a pistol.

The team has arrested 24-year-old Sonam Tamang of Tarakeshwor Municipality-3 from Swayambhu area Wednesday afternoon.

Police seized an automatic pistol with the inscription “Made in Germany” and five rounds of ammunition in his possession. The youth was found on a motorcycle Ba 49 Pa 7565 with a weapon.

The incident is being further investigated, police said.
