Man making guns at home arrested in Morang

Police recovered illegal weapons and tools used for making guns and five horns of spotted deer from his home



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested a man who made guns at home and sold them in Morang.

The arrested has been identified as Ash Bahadur Limbu, 52, of Belbari Municipality-1, Morang. Police recovered illegal weapons and materials used for making guns and wildlife parts from his home.

A team deployed from the Area Police Office, Belbari, arrested Limbu on the basis of a tip-off that he was making and selling guns at home and was involved in illegal hunting of wild animals, according to Morang Police.

Police recovered a loaded firearm, two barrels used for making guns, 1 kg of explosives, five horns of spotted deer and three iron casings from his house.
