KATHMANDU: The government has started administering first and second doses of vaccination against coronavirus in Kathmandu from Tuesday.
The vaccination against coronavirus has started in eight hospitals in Kathmandu from today, said Badri Bahadur Khadka, head of the Public Health Office, Kathmandu. According to the Health Office, AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson and Vero Cell vaccines are being given.
The AstraZeneca vaccine is being given to citizens above 18 years of age.
Khadka further said that the first and second doses of Vero Cell and Johnson & Johnson Vaccines are being given at Police Hospital and Nepal Army Hospital for those going abroad.
According to the Public Health Office, the first dose of AstraZeneca vaccine is being administered at Radha Swami Isolation Center, Bir Hospital, Paropakar Maternity Hospital, Tribhuvan Teaching Hospital, Armed Police Force Hospital and Civil Service Hospital.
