Inmates and their leader involve in fracas in Nakhu Prison

KATHMANDU: A fight has broken out between the inmates of Nakhu Prison and their leader in Lalitpur Sunday.

A police source said a minor discussion about the hiked price of a hotel inside the prison later turned into a scuffle.

Director-General Janak Raj Dahal at the Department of Prison Management said the issue was resolved. “It was an internal issue, it’s settled now,” he said.

The prison administration, police and inmates are engaged in discussion currently.
