Dr Milan Thapa picked as PADT member-secretary



KATHMANDU: Dr Milan Kumar Thapa has been appointed as the member-secretary of Pashupati Area Development Trust (PADT).

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, who also holds the portfolio of Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, on Friday appointed Thapa as the new member-secretary for a four-year term, according to the PADT.

Thapa, who previously served as the treasurer of the PADT for four years, assumed office on Friday itself. Known to have made significant contribution in researching and documenting the movable and immovable property of Pashupati area when he was the treasurer, Thapa expressed his commitment to complete the unfinished task while
