Schools to open in Rajbiraj from Sunday



KATHMANDU: The schools in Rajbiraj will come into operations from Sunday after the Saptari District Administration Office (DAO) handed over the responsibility of running the school to the locals.

A meeting of the District COVID-19 Crisis Management Committee chaired by Chief District Officer Jayanarayan Acharya in Rajbiraj of Saptari had given the responsibility of running the school to the local level.

Issuing a press release on Friday, the Rajbiraj Municipality Municipal Education Committee decided to open the school from September 5 by following the health standards from September 5.

It has been decided to run all the community and institutional schools at each level by fulfilling all the criteria related to health protocols against COVID-19.

In a statement issued by Municipal Branch Officer Bhogendra Prasad Yadav, it has been asked to run all the community and institutional schools up to class 12, 11, 10 and 9 of upper level, classes, 8 and 6 of lower level and classes 5, 4 and 3 of pre-primary level.
