Nawalparasi witnesses heavy rainfall; high vigilance urged



KATHMANDU: Heavy rainfall has been gauged at Danda-based Rainfall Measurement Center in Nawalparasi district today.

There is a possibility of more rain in this area, according to the Flood Forecasting Division.

Small rivers including Danda, Kawasoti and Giriubari are likely to swell up.

The branch has urged people especially those living on the river banks in the inundated areas to remain cautious for high vigilance.
