22-yr-old dies after jumping off a moving jeep



BIRATNAGAR: A passenger has died after he jumped off a moving vehicle in Biratnagar on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Yubaraj Khatiwada, 22, of  Tyamkemaiyung rural municipality-2, Bhojpur, confirmed DSP Deepak Shrestha of District Police Office, Morang.

The incident took place on the Koshi Lokmarga in Biratnagar Metropolitan City-3.

Khatiwada sustained critical injuries after he jumped off Balero Jeep, Ko 2 Cha 2742, he was traveling in, while it was heading towards south from northern direction.

Critically injured Khatiwada died in the course of treatment at Nobel Hospital at 8:20 pm.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking the driver and the vehicle under control.
