Hubby strangles wife to death



KATHMANDU: A man has killed his wife by strangling her to death at Gaushala near Guheshwori Temple in Kathmandu on Thursday morning.

The deceased has been identified as 23-year-old Ranju Tamang.

Meanwhile, police have arrested 39-year-old Ram Shrestha of Makwanpur, currently staying at Guheshwori corridor, on the charge of killing his wife, confirmed SP Ramesh Basnet of Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking the assailant under control.
