Two arrested with Red Panda skin



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested two people from Kathmandu and seized the skin of a rare wild animal, the Red Panda.

The arrested are Umesh Bisunke, 24, of Ramechhap Doramba Rural Municipality-5 of Shankharapur Indreni and Arjun Magrati, 25, of Dolakha Tamakoshi Rural Municipality-1 of Gaushala.

Acting on a tip-off, the police deployed from the Metropolitan Police Circle, Swayambhu, arrested them from Bishnumati Corridor Road, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-15 on the basis of information.

Police said that further investigation is underway.
