Armed Indian drug dealer arrested in Biratnagar

BIRATNAGAR:  Armed Police Force in Biratnagar has nabbed an armed Indian drug trafficker from Biratnagar 16, an area bordering with India on Wednesday night.

According to police, the arrested person is Pappu Kumar Patel, 41, of Jogbani Nagar Panchayat-9, Tikulia in Araria district of India.

Patel, disguised as a plastic picker was carrying drugs and weapons in a small bag.

The police were suspicious of his strange behavior and searched the goods he had been carrying. During the investigation, the police recovered a home made pistol, 292 ampoules of drug Avil and 295 ampoules of Lupijesic, a knife and two mobile phones from him.

Patel has been handed over to the Area Police Office, Rani for further investigation.

Patel is said to have a strong connection with the drug traffickers of Biratnagar and the areas around.
