Outgoing PM Oli leaves Baluwatar

KATHMANDU: Outgoing Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who is also the chairman of CPN-UML, has left his official residence Baluwatar Wednesday.

Oli left Baluwatar almost after three and a half months for his private residence Balkot in Bhaktapur.

Being escorted to Balkot by a motorcade involving as many as 2,000 cars and 3,000 motorcycles organized by UML’s sister organizations, National Youth Association Nepal (NYAN), from Baluwtar, Oli was also greeted by his supporters in various parts of the city.

Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba was appointed as the Prime Minister in line with Article 76 (5) of the Constitution Tuesday after the Supreme Court issued a mandamus to appoint him as Prime Minister Monday.
