Police nab husband for killing wife



BIRATNAGAR: Belbari police have arrested a husband on charge of killing his wife by attacking her with a wooden stub on Saturday morning.

According to Area Police Office, Belbari, Ambika Ghimire, 56, of Belbari -7, Morang has been arrested on charge of murdering his wife Sita Ghimire, 48.

Police recovered Sita’s body bleeding profusely from her head on Saturday morning.

During the investigation, the police found the blood stained wooden stub (Mungro) from Ghimire’s house.

According to police, the drunken Ghimre had argument with his wife before going to bed and had killed her around 2.30 AM this morning.

Police nabbed Ghimire from a barn lying nearly two kilometers away from his house.
