Two boys die after getting stuck in hume pipe



DARCHULA: Two boys have died after being stuck in a hume pipe in Mahakali municipality in Darchula district.

The deceased have been identified as 17-year-old Prakash Khatri of Byans rural municipality-4 and 12-year-old Ramit Kunwar of Duhun rural municipality-4, currently staying at Khalanga Army Gate.

Both Khatri and Kunwar died after being stuck in the hume pipe stored under the motor bridge in the Lasku rivulet in Mahakali municipality-4, Bangabagad, informed Narendra Bahadur Chand, the information officer of District Police Office, Darchula.

They were stuck into the hume pipe while swimming in the rivulet in searing heat on Tuesday.
