Health worker found dead in Dhangadhi

KATHMANDU:  A health worker working in a Health post at Parshuram-8, Jamrani is found dead in a community forest on Saturday.

According to District Police Office, Dadeldhura, Asmita Devit Dhami, 26, of Parshuram-8 Ghumtigada was found dead in Ghatani Community Forest.

Her family members informed that she had left home for her office on Wednesday morning but never returned.

After getting the information that Dhami neither reached at her office nor back home on Wednesday, the police deployed different teams from District Police Office Dadeldhura and Area Police Office Jogbudha to search her.

“It’s not clear whether Dhami committed a suicide or was murdered there,” a policeman deployed in the field said.

Police are investigating for further details.
