Two arrested from Kapilvastu along with customs-evaded goods



KAPILVASTU: A team of the Armed Police Force has arrested two persons from Kapilvastu along with customs-evaded goods worth Rs 8.2 million.

According to the police, the arrested are Sanjay Kumar Kushwaha, 34, and Angad Kumar Kushwaha, 24, of Kushinagar, Bariyatpur of India.

According to Dhubra Bahadur Karki, Chief Superintendent of Armed Police Force, Krishnanagar, they were arrested at a checkpoint in Krishnanagar Municipality-2 acting on a tip-off.

Police said that the customs office is conducting further investigation into the matter.
