Kathmandu metropolis administering Vero Cell today and tomorrow



KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) is administering Vero Cell vaccines today (Monday) and tomorrow (Tuesday).  The vaccination campaign which started on June 8 for five days had been stalled two days earlier than the scheduled time.

The metropolis is resuming the vaccination campaign for today and tomorrow, said the metropolis.

District Health Office, Kathmandu is administering Vero Cell to the senior citizens aged 60-61, informed Hari Bahadur Kunwar,  the chief of the KMC Urban Health and Food Regulation Department.

The vaccines will be administered at Bir Hospital, Teaching Hospital, Birendra Military Hospital, and Civil Service Hospital on June 14-15 from 10 am to 4 pm.

Besides the elderly, those who have already received a first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, doctors and health workers have been requested to receive the vaccines.
