Nepali expats in Bangladesh provide health equipment to Nepal



KATHMANDU: Nepali expatriates in Bangladesh handed over health equipment and other materials to the Ambassador of Nepal to Bangladesh, Dr Banshidhar Mishra, in Dhaka today.

The health equipment and materials donated by them consist of 10 oxygen concentrators (10 liters), 10 oxy therapy sets, five CDAC, and 10 flowmeters with a humidifier.

On behalf of the Nepali expatriates, Tika Limbu expressed satisfaction and happiness over the donation of the health equipment/materials for the needy people in Nepal suffering from COVID-19.

While thanking the embassy of Nepal in Dhaka for its supportive role including undertaking transportation, Limbu assured that the support by the Nepali diaspora would be continued in the days ahead.

Ambassador Mishra expressed his sincere gratitude to the Nepali expatriates in Bangladesh for their solidarity with the people and Government of Nepal combating a significant rise in COVID-19 cases. He thanked them for their valuable contribution to help Nepal in an hour of need.

All the health equipment/materials are being transported to Kathmandu from Dhaka today through a chartered flight along with other health materials provided by Bangladesh Army to Nepali Army, the Embassy of Nepal in Dhaka stated in a press release.
