PM Oli holds meeting with security chiefs



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli on Thursday held a “secret” meeting with the security chiefs at a time when opposition parties have been criticizing the government for failing to maintain the law and order situation.

Prime Minister Oli held discussions with senior officials of the Nepal Army, Armed Police Force, Chiefs of Nepal Police and National Investigation Bureau, Home Secretary, and Defense Secretary at his official residence in Baluwatar.

Sources said Prime Minister Oli had ninety minutes talks with the security chiefs.

Meanwhile, sources also claimed that Prime Minister Oli held a discussion with President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Wednesday evening.
