Teachers’ Federation announces second phase of agitation



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Teachers’ Federation has unveiled the second phase of the agitation program on Sunday.

The Federation has warned of launching the second phase of the agitation from May 21.

According to the Federation, it will draw the attention of the Prime Minister, the Speaker, the Minister of Education, Science and Technology, and the Minister of Finance by sending an open letter about their demands.

FNCCI General Secretary Laxmi Kishor Subedi and Co-Chairperson Purna Prasad Dawadi have announced the schedule of the program.

The demands increment of the salaries of teachers and school staff, among others.
